  4. Such a shame about Wardog. What barstewards. Imagine putting in a complaint to his work too. It goes to show they'll stop at nothing.

Now there's a thing. Wonder if Willie Bain every used his uni's computers for any labour party politicing?

Conan, I don't get the satire in this. Sorry. Can you spell it out please.

  5. The "Library photo" is of Himmler Rosa, not Swinney.

  6. Wardog's troubles indicate to me that the blogosphere is more powerful than I imagined. If a few comments on a wee blog can provoke that kind of OTT reaction. Well now we know how far they'll go to shut folks up. This ain't a game no more.

    As Incoming says:

    Heads Up!!!

  7. Nice one Conan, love the Himmler pic - those Nationalist Socialists what are they like?

The Wardog thing is shocking, but pretty much in line with the Scottish press packs attitude to the bloggysphere - they really don't like us, and are jealous of our ability to pretty much say what we want with impunity and would like to change that. He is doing the right thing, but it only takes 5 minutes to setup another blogger account, right?

    Warhog next?

  10. Good timing with the picture of Himmler and the action of Labour and Labour Journalists against Wardog. It does remind us all that we don't have a free press - more like the Third Reich.

  11. I had a note from Wardog / Muttley last night, but I've been too busy to look in on his thing.

I'm presuming that the managed to put up something original for a change, but which offended somebody - who was it?

I'll need to watch out. I'm sure that somewhere I call Swinney and Salmond "deceitful lying liars".

  12. Scunnert, I suspect it was the FOI requests rather than the comments that led to the intimidation.

That is a good thing to remember. Do NOT give them any opening. Don't post from work, etc. If possible blog from out of the country. I am pretty sure, for example, that Guido Fawkes hosts his from out of the UK.

It seems over the top to attack him but remember it took maybe an hour of someone's time, tops. Easy. If the UK government will have the police compile files on anyone just demonstrating against weapons fairs...

As an American, someone told me on a blog that only the US would do that and I was paranoid. All I could do was snicker.
