Not a good New Year so far. Buckets and basins are at the ready for the next thaw, but at least there's nothing left to damage. Holding off on the flatpack construction till the builders have been so we're living out of black bin liners.
Curse this global warming! Maybe this year I'll be able to plant vines in my garden Bugger.

Nice one mate and I hope you manage to get the leak(s) sorted out. All the best for a better 2011 for you and yours
ReplyDeleteConan, has the builders not been yet? They must be waiting for the snow to go. They'll be with you around April I suppose. ;) Auch what a bummer though. Keep thinking positive.
ReplyDeleteOr else 'Dairy Queen' - as doesn't vaccine originate from vacca meaning cow?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the condolences :¬)
ReplyDeleteI want to use a builder who lives in the village who is a friend of mine, but he has a huge waiting list and a shortage of guttering.
Very perspicacious Clarinda :¬D
Conan
ReplyDeletewith your article on Alex Salmond
you have strayed inadvertently(Um???) from the realm of satire into the unvarnished truth.
Local builder very busy eh! snowed under with work perhaps or is it because he is the best fiddler and i dont mean a musical one
Ach Niko, don't judge everybody by your own Labour standards...
ReplyDeleteI'm yer man Conan. What do yopu fancy a wee Shiraz or a nice wummanly Chardonnay?
ReplyDeleteA nice red def.
ReplyDeleteDid a post a while back on what you would call Scottish wines, Clydeside Red and Oana Mission come to mind.
There are loads of Scottish wines available, at least loads with Scottish names.
ReplyDeleteCeres
Rutherglen
etc etc
I knew someone who drank himself silly using "Scottish" wines, as a bet.
Poor Niko, a deeply discombobulated and silly wee soul, still bleating and spamming us with his tired Labour matra. He supports the party of Iraq and collaboration with rendition, then gives us a wee squeak about invented racism, if that was his point. The constant strain of being dull and defending a hopelessly bankrupt political position have long since rendered him "difficult to follow"
ReplyDeleteConan - another tip-top "headline" - loved the secret diary of Ian Grey!
