  1. Giving teenagers free Hootsmans? Won’t that just encourage more brick flinging given the state of reporting on the Hootsman?

  3. No doubt any brick flingers are youngsters who have actually had the misfortune of reading the rag. I'd suggest keeping it out of their hands. =)

  4. It *is* a Labour suggestion Jeanne...It's a shame though, the Scotsman pre-Andrew Neil was a paper I bought and would have quite happily seen the youth of Scotland read for free.

    Then.

  5. No argument. It's a shame what has happened to a once fine newspaper.

And I realize it's a Labour suggest. Probably explains their concept of once again shooting themselves in the foot because I can't imagine anything LESS likely to make someone actually vote Labout than reading regurgiated Labour press releases.

  6. Conan, I didn't realise this was a labour suggestion. Must have missed that in my in depth reading of the Scottish papers. :)

  8. Conan,

Incidentally, as I've been away for a while, is there any news of Ayrshire Scot's blog starting up?
